Teacher Biography
Allistair is the owner and music instructor at Eagle Sound Music Studio in Big Lake, Minnesota.
Music has profoundly shaped her life as she grew up in a music-immersed family where she started playing piano, cello, and violin at 3 years old. She took private lessons from many profound Suzuki teachers, and was selected as one of 200 Suzuki students globally to participate in the International 10-Piano Concert held in Sacramento, California. She furthered her music education by learning from McPhail Suzuki Faculty throughout her high school years, and she has actively participated and performed in various camps, ensembles, recitals, events, and weddings across the midwest.
Deciding to further her piano studies, she received training and education from the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse Music faculty, earning a B.A. in Music with an emphasis in Piano Pedagogy. Alongside her music and teaching studies, Allistair has accumulated over 12 years of experience teaching private music lessons to students ages 3+. She is a registered and certified Suzuki trained teacher, and is committed to completing regular ongoing unit certifications as an active SAA member and dedicated music teacher.
Outside of music, Allistair enjoys sports, baking, movie & show binging, fishing, and spending quality time with her husband and their four busy children!
